It is hard to believe it has only been just over two years since I created the Hikes Near Vancouver community. The platform has grown into so much more than I ever could have hoped for. I have met so many incredible people through HNV, and have seen thousands of others connect with each other, sharing their knowledge and experiences, beginning new friendships and tackling new challenges. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that our hiking community here in and around Vancouver is now more connected, more informed and more excited than ever. We have almost 5,000 members in the community hiking group, and just last week, my Instagram account received its ten thousandth follower! Contest Terms
The contest will run on Instagram and Facebook from Monday April 8, 2019 until 10PM PST Friday April 12, 2019.
There will be one post on the Hikes Near Vancouver Instagram and one post on the Hikes Near Vancouver Facebook page that you can interact with to enter. Only interactions on those posts qualify for entry into this contest.
One entry per separate comment.
Contest open to residents of Canada only. Winner of the boots will be chosen by Kristine Krynitzki of Hikes Near Vancouver and Jordan Hamelin of Sport Dinaco from all entries received, based on what we deem the most crazy/hilarious/compelling story.
If you own more than one Instagram or Facebook account, you may only enter using one account per social channel. Odds of winning depend on compellingness of entries submitted.
Winner will be contacted via the social media channel they entered by and announced on the Hikes Near Vancouver social media channels. The winner will be mailed the package by regular mail to a Canadian address only. Product value is CAD $340 + tax. Visit a local retailer to try on beforehand.
