I am so very happy and thankful this morning. I woke up to a DM on my Instagram (@hikesnearvancouver) from Merrell Canada saying I was one of this week’s daily shoe giveaway winners in their Merrell Canada Take a Hike contest!
To celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, Merrell Canada is giving away six prize packs plus a daily shoe giveaway.

I absolutely LOVE Merrell Canada products. My first ever pair of proper hiking footwear were a pair of Merrells. They lasted me ten whole years full of many, many hikes. My boots carried me over numerous hikes, from the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru to the beautiful Rocky Mountains in our incredible country and many more in between. They were by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I paired them with some waterproof socks and voila, winter footwear too!
